The homeowner loves their historic home but found the kitchen felt disconnected from the dining area and didn’t work well for them. To improve flow and functionality, we removed a wall between kitchen and dining, built a small addition, and used custom cabinetry to maximize storage. The home’s original woodwork from the removed wall was incorporated into the new island. White cabinetry and marble countertops brighten the space. The result is a blend of old and new, creating a warm, inviting kitchen with improved flow and storage for daily use and entertaining.
